I edit high-profile news packages, interviews, talk shows, and feature reports for broadcast and digital platforms, leveraging my expert-level proficiency in Avid Media Composer to deliver fast, precise, and polished edits under tight deadlines. I ensure technical accuracy, editorial integrity, and strong visual storytelling.
In addition to editing, I serve as the lead editor, overseeing media asset management and project organization. I operate broadcast routers and support archiving processes to maintain an efficient and accessible post-production environment. I developed clear workflow guides to help editors prepare deliverables and ensure they are delivered properly to the Technical Operations Center (TOC).
Special ReportRole: Video Editor One-hour EWTN News Special exploring Pope Leo XIV’s missionary years in Peru and their lasting impact on his leadership. As video editor, I shaped the narrative, pacing, and emotional arc of the film, working from footage captured over seven days in Peru. The project came together through an intensive three-week edit, balancing storytelling clarity with a rhythm that carries the viewer through both place and memory.

As Producer and Senior Editor, I led the editorial vision, shaping the narrative structure, pacing, and emotional arc of the film. My journey at Globo was shaped by my love for all things behind the scenes. From editing urgent news pieces during the Olympic Games to shaping emotional tributes and troubleshooting post-production workflows during Carnaval, I found purpose in the unseen moments, ensuring that everything worked, everything flowed, and the story was always told.I started as a video editor in Rio, working across some of the most prominent journalistic and entertainment divisions at Globo, including Jornal Nacional, GloboNews, sports coverage, and long-form specials. I worked on everything from urgent daily packages to 30-minute specials and documentaries. Often, I did so under extreme time pressure and evolving editorial conditions. Editing quickly was one thing, but telling clear, emotionally resonant stories under pressure became my specialty. I also supported live newscasts as an EVS operator, providing rapid video playback during fast-paced coverage. I collaborated closely with the control room team to ensure precise timing and flawless technical execution.Thanks to my strong editorial instincts, I quickly became a trusted name in the newsroom. In my first year, I was invited to become a facilitator, serving as a bridge between the video editors and the editorial team. Each day, I assigned editors to stories based on their complexity, urgency, and tone. I provided performance insights to the post-production manager while ensuring that each segment met Globo’s journalistic standards. Also, mentoring journalists and video editors on Avid Media Composer, Media Central CloudUX, and collaborative newsroom workflows. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I played a pivotal role as a post-production specialist, helping the team transition to remote editing almost overnight. I developed workflow guides, optimized systems, and provided real-time support to editors who were adjusting to remote tools and cloud-based collaboration. For on-site staff, I recommended a rotational shift model to minimize risk, ensuring that half of the team could work from home while the other half remained on-site to maintain smooth operations. Meanwhile, I collaborated closely with the editorial and technical teams to ensure that everything that aired met the same high standards and speed despite the unprecedented challenges.In 2020, I moved to Belo Horizonte and transitioned into a Operational Management role. I coordinated a team of over 50 professionals, including video editors, technical directors, camera operators, and sound board operators. As a Technical Production Manager, I aligned technical and technological resources with editorial needs. I oversaw large-scale production planning and helped lead complex broadcasts company-wide, including presidential elections, New Year's specials, sports coverage, concerts, and Carnaval. As the central link between editorial, technical, and support teams, I navigated last-minute rundown changes, managed studio logistics, and ensured everything ran smoothly under pressure.At Globo, I grew from a storyteller into a leader.
